Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through PawAI Lab, operated by Aifoxin Technologies LLC. Please read this policy carefully before subscribing. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Refund Policy.

1. General Refund Policy

All Sales Are Final

Due to the nature of AI service consumption — where computational resources are expended immediately upon use — all subscription payments are non-refundable. This applies to both monthly and annual subscription plans.

We offer a permanently free Starter plan with 15 AI credits per month, allowing you to evaluate PawAI Lab before committing to a paid subscription. We encourage you to use the free plan to determine whether the service meets your needs before upgrading.

2. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
  • No partial or pro-rated refunds will be issued for the unused portion of the current billing period.
  • After the billing period ends, your account will be downgraded to the Starter (Free) plan.

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following are explicitly non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Consumed AI Credits: Any AI credits that have been used — whether for text consultations or image photo scans — are non-refundable.
  • Unused Credits at Cancellation: Credits remaining in your account at the time of cancellation or plan downgrade are forfeited and non-refundable.
  • Plan Downgrades: No refunds are issued when downgrading from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan. The downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
  • Subscription Fees After Auto-Renewal: If you fail to cancel before your subscription auto-renews, the renewed charge is non-refundable. We recommend canceling at least 24 hours before your renewal date.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

While our general policy is no refunds, we may, at our sole discretion, consider exceptions in the following circumstances:

4.1 Extended Service Outages

If PawAI Lab experiences a verified service outage exceeding 24 consecutive hours that prevents you from accessing the service, you may be eligible for a pro-rated credit applied to your next billing cycle. This does not apply to scheduled maintenance windows, which will be communicated in advance.

To request an outage credit, email support@pawailab.com within 14 days of the outage with the subject line "Outage Credit Request."

4.2 Unauthorized / Fraudulent Charges

If you believe a charge was made to your account without your authorization, you must report it to us within 60 days of the charge date by emailing support@pawailab.com with the subject line "Unauthorized Charge Report." We will investigate and, if the charge is verified as unauthorized, issue a full refund to your original payment method.

4.3 Duplicate Charges

If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a technical error, please contact us at support@pawailab.com. Verified duplicate charges will be refunded in full.

5. Chargeback Policy

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card provider without first contacting us to resolve the issue:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation.
  • If the chargeback is upheld by your financial institution without a valid reason, your account may be permanently terminated.
  • We strongly encourage you to contact us at support@pawailab.com before initiating a chargeback, as we are committed to resolving billing issues fairly and promptly.

6. How to Request a Refund

For eligible refund requests (unauthorized charges, duplicate charges, or outage credits), please follow this process:

  1. Email support@pawailab.com with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Account Email]"
  2. Include in your email: your account email address, the date of the charge, the amount charged, and a brief description of the reason for your refund request.
  3. Our support team will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days.
  4. If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

7. Refund Method

All approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase (credit card via Stripe). We do not issue refunds via cash, check, or alternative payment methods. Refund processing times may vary depending on your financial institution, but typically appear within 5–10 business days of approval.
